Shanghai hosted URKL on September 19
URKL’s Shanghai city tour took place at Baoshan Gymnasium on September 19, 2026, with afternoon and evening sessions. Shanghai’s government published a recap the following day.
- Date
- September 19
- Venue
- Baoshan Gymnasium
- Public sessions
- Two
This was the rescheduled August 29 event. An August 26 government notice moved it to September 19 because of a typhoon, so listings that still show August 29 are out of date.
Jiefang Daily quotes Baoshan officials reporting sales of 5,000 tickets across the two sessions. That is reported ticket sales across the day, not 5,000 spectators at each session or an independently audited attendance figure.
Reported show results
White Eagle won both sessions
Labor Daily reports that White Eagle won both the afternoon and evening sessions. These are city-tour show results.
Southern Daily’s reporter at the evening show describes White Eagle and Golden Flash as tied 2–2 after four one-against-one rounds. The finale then introduced Bullfighter, with White Eagle and Golden Flash teaming up in a two-against-one bout.
Bullfighter’s 3–2 win belongs to the July 16 Shenzhen opening exhibition. It should not be attached to this Shanghai show.
White Eagle, Golden Flash, Bullfighter
Three identities on the T800 platform
The show featured EngineAI T800 humanoid robots presented as White Eagle, Golden Flash, and Bullfighter. Government and newsroom coverage describe contact, evasive movement, recovery from the floor, and jumping knee attacks.
The Shanghai government recap describes the fighting as “fully autonomous.” That is a reported technical claim. Edited event footage does not independently document every control mode, instruction, or possible human intervention throughout a session.
A separate event route
The city tour sits outside the championship
Economic Daily quotes EngineAI cofounder Yao Qiyuan describing the city tour as a commercial route outside the main championship system.
Shanghai’s winners therefore do not prove advancement among the 32 qualified teams. Fighter identities are also not a substitute for registered team names, a group draw, or official championship standings.
There is a separate September report from MindRobots’ computing partner about that team reaching the top 16. The schedule tracker explains its source and the remaining roster gaps.

Checked October 2
What happens after Shanghai?
A URKL club at Smart Bay in Baoshan was planned for October. Its exact opening day, operating status, public hours, and fight calendar were not verified in our October 2 check. Smart Bay is a different location from Baoshan Gymnasium.
The next exact public URKL fight date also remains unverified. Conflicting championship month ranges do not establish a specific event to attend or watch.
