The short version
What this policy covers
URKL.org is an independent informational fan website. It does not offer user accounts, sell products, or ask visitors to submit names, payment details, or public posts.
The site uses service providers to deliver and protect its pages, measure aggregate readership, play embedded videos, and support the site with advertising. Those services may process information as described below.
Ordinary web requests
Information handled when you visit
Loading any website naturally sends technical information to the systems delivering it. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, requested page, time of the request, referring page, and security signals.
URKL.org uses this information to provide the site, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and understand broad readership patterns. We do not use it to create named visitor profiles.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include. We use it to respond and handle the request.
Aggregate measurement
Plausible Analytics
URKL.org uses Plausible Analytics to understand which pages people read and how they find the site. Plausible is designed without cookies or persistent identifiers and does not track visitors across websites, devices, or days.
Aggregate reports may include visited pages, referral source, browser, operating system, device type, country, and visit duration. We use these reports to improve the site and decide what information is useful.

Site funding
Google AdSense
URKL.org uses Google AdSense to support the site with advertising. Ads may not appear until Google finishes its review of the site.
Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, limit how often ads appear, and, where permitted, personalize advertising. Personalized ads may be based on visits to this site or other websites.
Data handling depends on your region, consent choice, browser settings, and Google settings. Learn how Google uses information from partner sites, read the Google Privacy Policy , or manage personalized ads in My Ad Center .
Your advertising choice
Consent and cookies
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google’s certified consent platform may ask whether you consent to advertising cookies, local storage, and related data use. The message offers Consent, Do not consent, and Manage options.
Your choice may affect whether Google serves personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads. Declining consent does not block access to URKL.org.
When Google’s consent message is active, a Privacy and cookie settings link appears at the bottom of the site for eligible visitors. Use it to review or withdraw your consent. You can also control personalized Google ads through My Ad Center and your browser settings.
Third-party media
YouTube videos and external links
The site embeds public YouTube videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. When an embed loads or you play a video, Google or YouTube may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, the page containing the video, and your interaction with the player. Cookies or local storage may be used according to your settings and interaction.
URKL.org also links to outside websites including EngineAI, YouTube, X, news organizations, and government sources. Their privacy practices apply after you visit them; URKL.org does not control those services.
Control and access
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection for personal information, and to withdraw consent. Some requests are best handled directly by the provider that holds the information—for example, Google advertising choices through My Ad Center.
For information handled directly by URKL.org, email [email protected]. We may need enough information to understand and verify your request.
General audience
Children’s privacy
URKL.org is a general-audience informational website. It does not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child sent personal information directly to the site, contact us so the request can be reviewed and the information deleted where appropriate.
